Of course that bet view has some disadvantages, as it affects best prices seen by bfexplorer so any feature depending on this is affected as well.

I believe you are software developer as well, because posting here on bdp forum (a common user seldom visits this forum), so you are using at least two pc monitors, then what I can advise you is to run two instances of bfexplorer, you can set different app layout for each app instance and change refresh rate too. In one bfexplorer instance set bet view and use that bfexplorer just for watching market prices development, and the other bfexplorer for placing bets.

The other alternative for bet view is conditional formatting I already showed you in my first video, this has no such affects.

If you are able to program, then using bfexplorer bot sdk you can develop a tool with ladders showing just bet view prices as indicator. I myself use my bot sdk to develop tools like you can see in My Tools, for instance the tool NinjaTrader is such example for what you can do. It synchronize with actively opened market in bfexplorer, and as it is able to monitor market prices with different bet view setting, you would get data you need to present in your ladders.

Btw, is there any way to use the "Bet View" formatting only for the "Trade Market Selection" window and leave the main window unaffected(so I would use this window for trade)?

Here you are ignored by others, and actually I can be hammered by some cohorts here, even by betfair staff itself as they did that many times before.

No it is not possible to use bet view "setting" for "Trade Market Selection", as bet view setting affects entire communication with betfair api.
