Gday Andrew! Saw your post on the forum. Would be keen to share ideas/discussion around this area. Similar to you, I'm reasonably new to Betfair, but have built some auto-betting strategies into other tools using Excel (Betangel). These worked pretty well, but given the reasonably high cost of using these third party tools I am investigating the API option. I'm no expert on VBA but have a reasonable understanding of the language and utilising it for Excel.
You mention you have been working on some XML analysis? How are you accessing the XML file to read this? The reason I ask is that I am interested in generating a sub program to automatically create a number of sheets which reference various markets (rather than searching through the tree view one at a time). Any ideas?
