    Historical Data

Not sure if many people have had a go with parsing the historical 'pro' data but I am sometimes seeing the following:

    New market appears (img=False)
    Update for said market (img=False)
Another update for said market (img=True)
    Update for said market (img=False)...

Whats odd is that the 'img' update looks like the attached, where you can see two updates for the same runner. I have never seen this on live data, anyone else?

    Hi LiamP

Im also trying to parse and make sense of the data (im also using the PRO samples file).
I have a lot of questions, will do a separate post with them (im seeing traded volume decreasing, volume being made outside the best back/lay prices, etc.).
I haven't seen that specific pattern but im currently just focusing on one specific market at the time (im checking 1.131162806 right now) and the first message has the image = true.
What i do see is the first message having already traded volume which confuses me.

Yep I am seeing all of above as well, its a complete mess, I have to assume that its been done on purpose as its a sample?

I'm also inclined to say that it's a complete mess unless i'm missing something big. Im going to try to summarize my strange findings.
I haven't taken into account the effects of virtual prices and how they play in the matched volume but some of the things that im seeing cant be a product of virtual prices.

          Hi Lopiner,

The 'img' field isn't relevant to the historical data only when using the live Stream API so can be disregarded, we'll update the spec and FAQ's to make this clear.

          Thanks

          Neil

            Hi Neil,

If that is the case what does it mean when img=true does appear with duplicate updates as pictured?

              Hi LiamP,

img=true doesn't mean anything in the context of the historical data.

Each message represents a new update.

              Kind Regards

              Neil
