API Service Disruption

Hi all,

I haven't come across this before while running my current bot, but today it came across a change in the Betfair API status from 'operational' to 'Service Disruption'.

Im just posting here in an effort to get more information as to what this entails... Why are only a select few not Operational? And what does it mean to be disrupted? Is it most likely completely not working or just temperamental?





I have my bot set to stop running in this case as it seems like orders can really be messed up? It's been like this for, I believe, 20 minutes. And still currently showing this at 7PM NZST.

EDIT: Service has returned, however I'm still curious... Is it just a random/periodical problem? Around 1hr offline though...

Messaged Betfair Customer Service earlier and was told it was a site wide outage. I'm still curious why it would only affect certain functions because at the time, since ListMarketBook was still operational, I could still get the current prices!
