    Full-Time scores from Betfair API

To anyone in the Betfair API dev team:

    Hello,

I am sure you get this a lot but, why is there no clear API endpoint for people that want to get the final score of a football match? Or even some way for them to get any stats that every game collects as it is played out, like when a goal was scored?

Why do you not keep 'eventId's open even 2-5 minutes past their completion, so that people can access that kind of data?

Is there a way to accomplish the above and I have missed it?

Thank you for all your help.

I use the correct score marketBook, which stays around for at least 3 months. If either team scores 4 or more, it won't give the exact score, but for most games it works. But there's not much other data that can be extracted.

Thank you Jabe, what you say is a way forward however limited. I mean that there should be a proper way of getting to the final score of each match, kept in their database for a period of time so that people can collect data for back testing (at least).

I am very much looking forward to the dev team's view point on this.

Betfair uses feeds (like all bookmakers) with which there is a cost and license agreement, I doubt they would provide this for free.
