    Question about Horse Racing MetaData

    Hi
    Quick question

What exactly is the FORECASTPRICE_NUMERATOR & FORECASTPRICE_DENOMINATOR in the horse metadata ?

As I wasn't clear, I looked it up in the official API docs.
FORECASTPRICE_DENOMINATOR = The forecast price denominator
Nice one BF, an example case of how NOT to write user documentation

Is it the anticipated Starting Price for this one runner, or odds of this runner combined with another horse ?
Also why is it expressed as numberator and denominator rather than just an odds ?

    Hi Geoff,

Yes, we went for literal descriptions for these fields!

Is it the anticipated Starting Price for this one runner, or odds of this runner combined with another horse ?
This is the forecast price from Timeform.

Also why is it expressed as numberator and denominator rather than just an odds?
This is how the data is received from the source.

    Thanks

    Neil
