My account is closed, BDP stopped to answer my messages and absolutely unwilling to help and listen my explanations. I am pushed out from here.

It was many years here. Thank you all very much! I stop development any open source projects related to Betfair.

Many software have 'training', virtual bets' or 'virtual money' modes. It is very important not to use it for extended time periods, for BF it looks like price fetching.

Unfortunately, delayed key has also some disadvantages, there is no trading volumes in responses, be very careful testing bots with live keys.

It is very important not to use live key for testing. There is big temptation to test software and strategies using live key - scores and prices are fully in sync, trading volumes are exact. My inclination to use live key and ignore of the delayed key made very bad experience with my account blocking.

So I have tho rethink my approach and use following things:
- maximaze testing with unit tests and minimize testing on live data
- use delayed key for testing software correctness. Strategy cannot be tested this way in many cases - nobody provides delayed scores and delayed traded volumes
- use live key and small bets to test trading strategy

Do not repeat my experience, learn to respect delayed key and other ways of testing, do testing on historical data, unit testing to minimize live data debug.

Did BF give you a detailed reason why they closed your account?

Reasons for locking account were described above. I used testing with live key and virtual money. From the Betfair side, it might look like data collecting.

I was careless about live and delayed keys and always used live. That was my error.

My account is restored. I've got a hard lesson that I should think my testing strategy and not to misuse live key.

Unfortunately, Betfair makes no warnings, it locks account.
