Does the API have an instant match function?

There is a bet_delay of 5-9 seconds for football inplay, but I was wondering if betfair had anything like smarkets where there is no delay on certain games called 'instant match' - there is still a delay but the price bought or sold is removed from the market until the delay is over. Meaning you will get exactly the price you wanted, not what you'll get after so many seconds have passed. This seems to be the case, because if it weren't I have no explanation for why prices disappear in less than 5-9 seconds from the moment they appear on the market.

No, there is no instant match function. The reason prices may disappear faster than the inplay delay, is that inplay delay is not used for cancelling orders, only for placing.
