Would anybody be interested in using a tote API if it was made available?

If there is enough interest a product could be available at the end of August. Obviously there is a significant cost involved in this for us so we need to know that the community would be interested and commited to using the Tote API.

The draft requests would be:

• getToteActiveMeetings:
  The API getToteActiveMeetings service enables customers to retrieve the active meetings for any Tote available supported by Betfair. Active meetings are meetings where there are pools you can bet on.
• getToteBetHistory:
  The API getToteBetHistory service enables customers to retrieve information about their historical (settled, voided, etc) bets on the Tote.
• getToteBets:
  The API getToteBets service enables customers to retrieve information about their active bets by unique ids
• getToteBetsOnMarket:
  The API getToteBetsOnMarket service enables customers to retrieve Tote bets by market.
• getTotePoolInfo:
  The API getTotePoolInfo service enables customers to retrieve information about Tote pools
• getTotePools:
  The API getTotePools service enables customers to retrieve detailed information on a pool available from the Tote.
• placeToteBetsAsync:
  The API placeToteBetsAsync service enables customers to send a bet request to the Tote. The Betfair Tote API return a response immediately and attempts to place a bet with the Tote in the background. The bet status returned is PENDING. You can then poll to determine if and when your bet was actually placed with the Tote.

The idea is that it would be the same as the website, i.e. if you can do it on the site you should be able to do it through the Tote API

Just been told I jumped the gun. Sorry guys will get a release date for you. We have been working on an alpha/beta tote API like you asked.

I'm hoping for a beta launch mid December but this has been moved on me twice so here goes two fingers crossed and all that.

Ok so December came and went. We were not able to get a release slot secured. It looks like we might get a release slot for the end of Jan. Fingers crossed.
