Lays and late scratchings

Hi all,
I suspect so but just wanted to check for sure whether unmatched LAY bets were automatically removed in the event of a late scratching in a horse race? If so can I still successfully query the API using the betId?

Hi Russell,

Unmatched LAY bets are automatically cancelled in the event of a scratching (you'll need to clarify exactly what you mean by 'late') but if the betId is fully LAPSED and no portion is matched the betId affected will only be query-able after the race has been settled via listClearedOrders.
