Hi Forum,
I cant seem to get my head around it.
So far i have no experience using certificates in any way so maybe someone can shine a light.
With CertLogin i still have to supply my username and password.
For me that means that they both have to be hardcoded in an app.
Which is apparently not a very good practice.
It seems that for added value of cert security you are giving away username and password security which are already enough to login into the account.
Now i just realised that the Certificate has its own username/password. That would make sense if the certificate only works on exactly one computer. Is that so ?
Does a certificate only work on the computer it is installed on and cant be transferd to another machine?
Would be great if someone could enlighten me
