    TradedVolume in ExchangePrices

    Hi,

According to another thread on this forum (v6.0), Traded volume is 2 * backer stake.

I need a few clarifications about this:
1/ Is it still the case for APING for TradedVolume in Exchanges Prices?
2/ I noticed the Traded Volume in Exchanged prices is not a multiple of 0.02 (= 0.01 * 2) as it should be if 1/ is true. Why is that?
3/ How does the traded volume works when there is cross matched bets? Let's say a two horses races. H1 vs H2. Someone wants to back H1 at Price 3.0 (size 15) and someone wants to back H2 at Price 1.5 (size 30). Then they can be cross matched. How will this translate into traded volume once matched?
    H1 TradedVolume = 15*2 = 30
    H2 TradedVolume = 30*2 = 60
But it seems like we are more than double counting the volume
    or
    H1 TradedVolume = 15*1 = 15
    H2 TradedVolume = 30*1 = 30

    Thanks,

    EKK

      Hi EKK,

Yes, traded volume = 2 x backers stake.

For cross matched bets Traded volume = sum of matched stakes

      For example £20 @ 1.5 cross matched with £10 @ 3 = £30 volume

You'd need to provide an a specific example regarding the below so that we can investigate:

2/ I noticed the Traded Volume in Exchanged prices is not a multiple of 0.02 (= 0.01 * 2) as it should be if 1/ is true. Why is that?
      Thanks

        Thanks

        Can you clarify one point?

        In your example:

        £20 @ 1.5 cross matched with £10 @ 3 = £30 volume

The 30£ volume will go on which Selection in TradedVolume (i.e. tradedVolume List< PriceSize >) ?

Does it go on both selections matched? or 20£ on 1 and 10£ on the other?

        Thanks

Isn't this just rounding after bets being in various different currencies are converted?

Yes, the traded figure is applied to both selections.

            Thanks
