Accessing betfair API from French server

Hello,
I am deploying my web app on a French server. Sadly I just discovered that Betfair is not active in France so when I run my script and try to log in I get

{u'loginStatus': u'BETTING_RESTRICTED_LOCATION'}

Any idea if access from France will be allowed soon or how to avoid the error?

to avoid the error do not connect to Betfair from somewhere it thinks is in a restricted location.

Very sad thing..
We are all in Europe but not everyone can access Betfair in the same way..
