API From Windows Azure

Is there any way to access the Betfair API using Microsoft Azure? I'm tried running in a Western European instance and a Northern Europe instance and on both occasions get an error BETTING_RESTRICTED_LOCATION. The northern Europe Azure instance is located in Ireland so I would have expected that I can login from a site hosted there.

I think you have to ask Microsoft to allocate you a different IP address (one that appears to be hosted in the UK/IRE). Best to ask Azure Support.

I think you're right, it looks like I'll have to get a reserved IP. It seems it's pot luck what geo location it's in so I might have to keep getting them and releasing them until I get one in a location that suits.
