Competitions missing from listCompetitions/listMarketCatalogue

Is there a way of getting the competitions for all the football matches? There appear to be a lot of matches missing this information when using API-NG and there are also a lot of leagues missing from listCompetitions. I'm not sure if the older APIs have the same issue, pointing towards a database issue, or if it is just in this one.
