I suspect this is not an intended use of API-NG, but I just noticed that I can place an unmatched order (stake £2) then reduce the unmatched portion to below the minimum stake by using cancelOrders, specifying bet ID and sizeReduction=1.0, to leave an unmatched order for stake £1.
Could someone from Betfair comment on whether this is acceptable use, or whether the API is likely to be fixed in future to prevent this.
