    Greening Up With Low Stakes

I'm trying to use the UpdateBets service to create a greening bet with a stake of less than £2. Most of the commercial software can do this (Bet Angel for example), and they do it by placing a back bet for £2 at 1000, then modifying the stake to the required value (say £1), and then modifying the price to the greening price.

However, when I try to modify the stake to £1 using UpdateBets, I get a WRONG_MINIMUM_PERMITTED_BET_SIZE error. Does anyone know if this is a limitation of the free API, compared to the paid API? Or am I doing something wrong?

    You are doing it wrong!

However I don't think you should be doing it! You are trying to bypass the minimum stake.
Probably you will get in trouble if you are doing that many times.

Guess that "Betfair Developers Program" is the best person to clarify this.
