total goals market

Hi there,

is there any issue with the number of winners for the total goals market in football?

I am getting a response like that:

107930717~Total Goals~A~ACTIVE~1358381700000~\Soccer\Friendlies\Fi xtures 16 January\Nacional (Uru) v Penarol~/1/12007415/26946779/26946775/107930717~8~1~URY~1358384273854~7~0~23.8~N~Y

which means number of winners = 0!

All the other markets are fine. except this one

Hi PLV,

The number of winners in Total Goals markets cannot be pre-defined. This is because its possible for all selections to be winners.

For example, if the final score was 4 - 3 all selections from 1 goal or more to 7 goals or more would be settled as winners.

So that means you can't normalise the overround with the number of winners.
What I mean is that if you have 3 winners in a market, then the normalised overround would be:

overround(calculated as always) / number_of_winners;

and will not show a number like 355%

I think what your missing PLV is that each of the X or More Goals selections on the Total Goals page is actually its own market.

The over round should calculated along the lines of adding the LAY 1 or more goals to all the back X or more goals and when the percentage of backing all options > 100% you are minted.
