    Traded Volume in horse-racing-pro-sample file

    Hi

    I've grabbed and trimmed this line from the horse-racing-pro-sample file:

    {"op":"mcm","clk":"3224767163","pt":1493460639037, "mc":.....
    .....{"trd":[[3.06,503.52],[3.6,0],[3.85,0],[3.19,1363.51],[3.1,92.26],[3.14,608.99],[3.35,0],[3.39,8.1]],"ltp":3.06,"tv":7269.99,"id":9194008}

    What does it mean when there's a zero valued price in traded volumes, as highlighted in bold above? Has all traded volume at this price been removed for the horse, and how would this happen in the real world? Many thanks in advance.

    Regards

    Chris

    Looking at that update it looks like a non runner has moved the traded volume, see the odd prices (e.g. 3.06)

      Thanks, Liam.

      If this was a non-runner, wouldn't all the price volumes zero out?

        I assume this is a runner that has been impacted by the reduction factor of a non runner, have a look at the rest of the update.

          It is cross matching price.

            Thanks, all.

            But how does this all work? If this horse becomes a non-runner, then I presume all bets are cancelled on the non-runner and all traded volume becomes zero. The reduction factor will then apply to the other horses (if greater than 2.5%). Let's say the reduction factor reduces a traded price from 8.0 to 6.0 (just taking this single price/volume). Does all traded volume at 8.0 reduce to zero and is then added to the 6.0 price volume, or am I totally at a lose?

            For cross matching, how does the traded price/volume reduce? I thought the trade was just matched on other horses in the race, thereby increasing their traded price/volume?
