We’re making changes to the Transaction Charge terms and conditions on the Betfair Exchange.

Transaction Charge Changes Effective from 1^st September 2025

Reduction in cost for high-volume transactions:

• For customers who process over 5,000 transactions per hour, the price per transaction will be halved from £0.002 to £0.001.

Exemption for meaningful market making bets:

• All initially unmatched (or “put up”) bets where backer’s stake is at least £10 or bet liability is at least £100 will incur zero charge. They will be exempt from transaction charges.

Cost increase for duplicate transaction errors:

• Please be aware that failed bet orders under the error code "DUPLICATE_TRANSACTION" will now incur a higher cost of £0.005.

Daily commission generated will continue to offset any transaction charges incurred.
