There is a minimum bet size. In the UK it's £2. However, that's not the end of the matter; the Exchange FAQ page explains how to make bets for lower stakes, while also advising not to do it too often. Excess may, it appears, lead to accounts being frozen or worse. Link to FAQs below. The minimum stake for your location will be somewhere in the documentation.

Hello,
I backed a runner for £2 @3.8, later the price increased to 4.9. Now I want to cashout and the correct stake to lay is 2x3.8/4.9=1.55. When I try to lay £1.55 I got an error INVALID_BET_SIZE. So please could someone advise me how to implement the cashout when the stake required is below £2?

I gather the minimum bet is now £1 in the UK.

However, this is how to lay for below minimum stake, as explained in the link in my post above.

1. Make a lay bet for the minimum stake at the smallest odds, i;e: £2 at 1.01.

2. Once the bet has been placed, adjust the stake UP to £3.55. The result of this will be to give you two bets in the system, one for £2 and one for £1.55.

3. Cancel the £2 bet.

4. Alter the odds of the remaining bet to 4.9.
