Hi,
I wondered what kind of latency you get in practice using the placeOrders endpoint and/or it's JSON RPC equivalent?
I have a VM which pings api.betfair.com in about 25ms.
I observe that a typical JSON RPC placeOrders request takes ~170ms to respond, though this does bounce around and can be much lower and much higher.
I am re-using HTTP connections and gzipping response bodies.
What sort of latency do you achieve?
