In-play football match gets premature STATUS = CLOSED oddity

I'm testing my program and trying to cater for odd happenings.

There is a current game between Arminia Bielefield and Duisberg (Bundesliga 2). It kicked off at 19:15 UK time (Monday 8th February 2016) and has its status set as CLOSED (on the Correct Scores market) within 35 minutes of kick-off.

It still shows as in-play on Betfair. It's half-time as I post (the same has just happened with Man Utd U21 v Norwich U21).

I restarted my program, which only picks up games currently in-play or due to go in-play, and it did not select this game (nor the Man Utd U21 game later).

Does this kind of thing happen regularly?

I've already noticed that some games scheduled to go in-play do not do so, even several hours after their supposed kick-off times.

Could anyone enlighten me on either count, please? Thank you.

I've just had a match in which the Status of the Correct Score market was CLOSED but the status of the Match Odds market was still ACTIVE.

I'm wondering whether the same happened on the two matches I mentioned above (as well as Espanyol v Sociedad a little later).

I've realised the that the Man Utd U21 (7-0) and Espanyol (0-5) games both reached Any Unquoted territory, but I can't see why that would mean the Correct Score market should close early, since they could still potentially - however unlikely it might be - have ended with either of two other outcomes.

The Arminia Bielefield v Duisberg game ended 2-1, so no such excuse for that one.
