Looking for someone to create link to published model to trade automatically

Hi all, apologies if this is in the wrong spot.

I am based in Australia and am looking for someone to create a link between one of the published Betfair models and automated trading software. I then want it to place small bets to test the system.

If someone is not able to do this themselves, but can point me in the right direction, that would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Yes, I created automated strategies for their 2 ML models, for greyhounds and for horse racing.

What is funny is betfair australia advertise bet angel automation as the way to go, please actually read what they did:

You have a lot to learn about business "bfexplorer", you shouldn't be giving away links to your competitors "Bet Angel".

I think you actually do not understand what I do.

I am more developer than vendor trying to sell my software. I trade on betfair myself, so I am open to any new idea, and so I have more skills to implement anything what looks stupid on the first look, or people just overlook that, for me it could be profitable strategy, therefore I have no problems to post on my blog links to "my competitors" or anything what is immediately deleted from such vendors forums.

People are not stupid, well at least those part of profitable ones from betfair in any activity. Betfair says it is about 5% of their users.

I became betfair vendor because betfair itself offered it to me back in 2007, when I developed my personal app at that time on free web api, putting together pool of free api connections to break limits on free api, I think it was 10 calls you could make to api from one connection. Betfair offered me trail, then I had to pay monthly fee for api, so I put price to get that fee back having at least 10 paying subscribers, what I have got.

Later betfair stopped with monthly fees for their api, but as I have got paying clients, mostly clients I made bespoke apps, it would be unfair to them if I closed my vendors app, therefor you can find my app still being offered.

I think all of you here have dailly jobs, as I have myself, boring stuff, maintaining old winforms app in C#. Betfair programming gives me opportunity to do what I like to do without any restriction of using technology or programming languages. On my blog you can actually see that, posts where I use different technologies and different programming languages.

Without this betfair hobby, I would have no chance to learn such technologies, or new programming languages.

            Hi

Has anyone studied how well these Betfair Australia machine learning models are doing ? I havent spotted any results they quote yet. I am intrigued to know how well machine learning is doing applied to this field ? Thanks

Horse racing is useless, but greyhounds can be used:

They have no results of their ML strategies, but I think it was made just as inspiration for others. Actually I made my own ML model for horse racing:

                Thanks for the reply

"Horse racing is useless, but greyhounds can be used"
Thats interesting, I would have guessed it might be the other way around as there are more variables that could be factored into the equation for horse racting compared to greyhounds.

Whats the current conclusion on your ML models ? How close to profitible is it, or showing some promise for further refinements to make it work better ?
Its hard to see any conclusion from your video link.

Its an interesting area to ponder.

P.S That link you posted to the Bet Angel Pro automation stuff showed how horrible a solution it is to use Excel and vba automation code to post automatic bets, the vba code snippets posted looked horrible. I am not sure what your solution/implementation is but its got to be the better way of doing it compared to Bet Angel!

On my video you can see that all trades were profitable, but it is hardly to say how it will work in longer period.

I have data just from couple weeks, and dailly rebuild ML model trying different ML algorithms.

My app is different from all Excel automation only apps, because my bots are general ones, I mean they trigger actions on nominated selections.

For instance, the bot you could see from video, can be used just with factored values to trigger different betting scenarios (betting, trading, dutching), when betting only again with just plain stake amount or with some staking plan.

The same bot can as well use ML to nominate selections. ML gives probability for each selection to be winner.

I take is just as learning opportunity, as you can actually apply ML not only in selection process but as well, in judging if trade should be started or not, in such case two ML models could be applied.

Yes, Excel automation is useless in the way how it is presented on betfair hub pages.

At time I discussed that with some betfair person from Australia I mentioned that, he did not undstrand, or worse not wanted to understand, because one of their articles was actually lie.

I offered him to make some tutorial, and they published something about my app, but they removed that in couple weeks later, so only documentation of our conversation is on my blog, well at least what I was allowed to publish, because he asked me to delete some sentences.
