    Accessing the API via a proxy? Any ideas how?

    Hello there,

    I am looking to access the API via a proxy.

    I currently use C#.Net and the APING sample code as a base for my app....

    My motive is;
    - To ensure redundancy for failed connections/internet outages
    - To enable access from an IP from a different country for those traveling abroad.

    Is it as simple as adding proxy details onto the end of the endpoint?

    Thanks heaps for any thoughts

    So you are not Australian but Indies building proxy api for their web and mobile apps. Betfair blocked Indies maybe for this exact issue.

      Not sure what you mean? No, I am Australian from Australia using the Australian Endpoint. I believe there are instances where for example, a British Traveller in Australia may want to use a British IP address to access betfair. But my main motive is that I want to use a proxy because my network here allows redundency should one of my internet connections go down. e.g. I have a proxy available that goes through a 4G connection and a proxy available that goes through my VDSL landline connection. If one is unavailable I can swap.
