    createDeveloperAppKeys not working?

    Hi guys,

I'm trying to generate an appkey from the visualizer, but I keep getting an exception with an APP_KEY_CREATION_FAILED error value.

I've already generated appkeys in the past and the session token field is correctly populated (I've logged in from the site, then went to the developer's area).

Has anybody else seen this issue or it's just me?

So far as I know you're only allowed one Developer appKey per BF account (tho you can use that appKey for as many apps as you like, so long as they run on that account).

if you are creating an appKey for an account that doesn't already have one, then I dunno what the problem is.

      Hi Jav
You only get one set of Keys per Account and as you have already done a set (With a long forgotten Unique Application name (no doubt) you just need to Add your valid Session Token and click on the one below the CreateKeys
GetDeveloperAppKeys You can expand to see the App Keys by Clicking the little square to the left of Application ID as in the pic
      Hope this helps

No, guys, I know how to get my appkeys. I have another account for which I've created a set of keys, and all is going well, and I can see them when I call getDeveloperAppKeys.

However, I have this other, unrelated account, for which I have no appkeys (getDeveloperAppKeys returns nothing) and for which I cannot create one because the system keeps returning the error I quoted.

I should have been clearer in my original post: when I said that I had already created keys in the past, I meant something like "I know how to do that", not that those keys were for the same account.

            Hi
Theres no problem with the visulizer creating new Keys
Can you not Log in and get a Session Token with your other Apps?
Just Log in and get the Session Token with the new account that way and its no problem
            I just done my Dads
If you are trying to retrieve a Session Token by logging into the site and trawling through Cookies and the like - Then best of Luck
