    How are the odds created

Hi guys being watching how the exchange games work and noticed that odds are the same for similar hands. I've also noticed that there is a definite pause before the odds are reintroduced to the market. Is this because the betfair games automatically calculate the odds before each hand. Which would make it fundamentally different to the sports section which is more of a free market. What do you guys think.

The bots at work there know the exact odds of an event & price either side just over / under. As it is a deck of cards, it's simple probability.

I guess yes. Market Making Bots, in order to earn money, need to provide odds below true value! Calculating true value odds may be something time consuming, that could be an explanation for the delay.

      Just my two cents ;-)
