    lay-price in historic data

Looking at the data at dat.befair.com, I see no lay-prices.
Would most of you agree that for simulation purposes,
    I can assume lay-price = back-price
or is there another commonly used convention?

    Thanks
    /Björn

Historical data shows the ODDS that have been matched. So yes, lay price = back price.

    Cheers,

Hmm, I'm not quite sure I understand the distiction around odds/prices here.
But I'm happy with the answer.

By the way, I suspect that volume is in GBP ?

Sorry for the confusing, odds and prices are the same thing.
I just said "odds", because it is the word used in data.betfair.com
