virtual bets and recorded trades

If I lay against a virtual back is that trade recorded against the horse that I laid or against the horse from whence the virtual bet was derived?

I believe its from the horse you laid (the virtual bet may come from several different horses).

For a normal trade (non virtual) the matched amount logged by Betfair is 2 times the size of the bet. For a virtual trade the matched amount for the selection you lay is the size of the bet, while the rest is logged for the selection(s) the virtual bets consists of.
