We’re pleased to announce the next phase of testing for optimising bet delays is due to commence w/c 19th January.
Dynamic delays will be offered for the Oeiras Challenger 100. This is the concept whereby bet delays are reduced to 1 second during safe periods so in the case of tennis, during change of ends.
Full details of the logic can be found below.

Reduce Delays
Increase delays
Equally we’re keen to hear any general feedback on the concept of dynamic delays. Whilst this remains an experiment, it may come into play for other sports in the future. For example - Football at half time.

Reduce Delays
- Every game 3,5,7,9,11, or game which decides a set (potentially 6,8,10,12) delay is reduced to 1 second.
- Message used to trigger the delay decrease would be ‘END_GAME or END_SET’
- Suspend market > lapse bets in the delay > Reduce delay > Activate Markets
- Aim is for the process to take <0.5 seconds
Increase delays
- At the end of the change of ends the delay will be increased to 3 seconds
- Message used to trigger the delay increase would be ‘Pointstart’
- Suspend market > lapse bets in the delay > increase delay > Activate Markets
- Aim is for the process to take <0.5 seconds
- Sportradar do not have a time message so to stay consistent across all feeds we will increase delays on ‘Pointstart’
- There is a time message which could have worked for IMG and Bet Genius
