I've built a feature complete Python Betfair APING library here: https://github.com/joelpob/betfair.py. It covers all APING api calls with the exception of a few account scenario irrelevant ones (getDeveloperAppKeys, createDeveloperAppKeys etc). It's a fork of github.com/jmcarp/betfair.py.
I've tested all API's locally, but there's a chance I've missed a few cases (typically this shows up with model serialization/unserialization exceptions). Feel free to send me a pull request or bug report and I'll fix 'em up.
