I am trying to check on the behaviour of using the "Update Bets" call on matched / unmatched bets, the documentation does not really outline the full behaviour.
If I have an original bet of price 1.5 and size £200.
£80 gets matched at this price, leaving £120 unmatched.
I use the "Update Bet" call to change the price to 1.4.
Does this:
- Leave original bet at £80 matched? or is it not possible to "Update" as it has a matched amount?
- If it does leave £80 matched does the new bet get created at £120 automatically or do I have to specify this amount as £120?
In this scenario I might be better cancelling the original bet, finding the unmatched amount and creating a new bet for £120 at 1.4?
